The ColdFire system is designed to transfer warm coolant from one vehicle into the engine of a cold vehicle in order to aid the cold vehicle in starting. Under normal operating conditions and when used properly—according to the instructions in this manual—minimal risk to either vehicle is present. It is advised that installation of the ColdFire system is completed by a certified mechanic (a certification such as ASE is suggested), to ensure installation is done so in a way that vehicle performance is not affected.
It is the responsibility of the end user to verify the fluids exchanged during the use of the ColdFire system are compatible in order to avoid potential damage to either vehicle.
